March 2002 until now:

Working in IBM Malaysia as IT Specialist for ASEAN Techline xSeries and PCD (Personal Computing Divission). Work involves providing technical advice, configuration on hardware and software and training on xSeries platform, PC products, Intellistation and ThinkPad for pre-sales request. Also provide technical presentation, training and skill transfers to partners,customers and internal personel.

Configuration done:
- xSeries configuration (hardware and rack options).
- SAP capasity and hardware sizing.
- PC, Intellistation and ThinkPads configuration.

Training conducted:
- xSeries & PCD Configuration Tools
- Deploying Linux on IBM BladeCenter
- Deploying Linux and Lotus Products on IBM BladeCenter

Involved in Linux technical resolution:
- Solving Linux ethernet teaming/channel bonding aka trunking problems.
- Provide advice to solve graphics configuration problem on IBM Netvista with Intel Xtreme chipsit.
- Provide advice on JVM upgrade on Linux.

Assisted on configuration of:
- VMWare ESX Server 1.5.2 on IBM x440. Configured MSCS cluster in a 'cluster in a box' type setup. This setup is supposedly for IBM Forum 2003.

1998 - 2001

Working as a part time computer technician for Second Residential College UMKL. Work involves troubleshooting problems regarding software and hardware. Supports machine running Windows platform and Linux. Also involved in network maintenance for the main office and the college support staff.

Has undergone 5 months training with RS/6000 team at IBM Malaysia. Training involves software and hardware. During training I’m also involved in setting up a web hosting farm for the service named, host-it.
